This last weekend I installed a wireless set of sensors on my roof. I put them on my TV antenna as high up as I could reach hoping to get it in some clear air. Unfortunately there are some trees near by and I would think the house itself would deflect air over the roof. The airport seems to have winds 8 to 10 mph higher than here. I was wondering what kind of installations others have. It is kind of fun thinking about that little anemometer spinning around up there. Tom

Welcome to the Board. I have the same type of set-up. The airport is so much more open from buildings and such, that the readings will be higher there.
